Quilters' Corner

For those of you who enjoy quilting, needlepoint, or working with stained glass, I'm pleased to offer an assortment of patterns with a Celtic theme. Each was designed for use as a quilted wall hanging, but could easily be adapted to suit a wealth of other craft projects. I also have assembled a packet of border designs, which can either be applied to a project of your own choosing, or used in conjunction with any one of  my patterns.  I'm always designing new stuff, so if you don't see anything you like today, check back in a month or two.
Quilters please note:Although I'm more artist than crafter, I make it a point to do fabric mock-ups of every one of my patterns to make sure they're workable, so I can assure you from personal experience that not only can they be done, they can be done with relative ease. The sizes indicated are tailored for making "stained glass" quilts using a 3/16" polyester lead line tape; each pattern is large enough to make applying the lead line reasonably easy. If you've never done (or heard of) stained glass quilting before, check out www.quilterstreasure.com for more info. They also offer a beautiful selection of unique fabrics which are perfectly suited for this technique, and are currently the best source for colored lead line tape. If you'd like to see what the tape looks like, click onto the "Help" link below. For some very basic instruction, try the "How To" page.

The lead line sold here and at Quilters Treasure.com is a polyester braid - very soft & flexible, applied with a water soluble tacky glue, then stitched in place.
